Cheap baby cribs do exist and you don’t have to sacrifice style or safety when you buy one. You just have to shop around and see what fits your budget. Some of the department stores have very good prices and are worth looking into.

• Target has a crib for $135.00 that includes the bedding. They only sell that crib online. That is a good deal. Of course they have others. Cheap baby furniture is easy to find as you can see already. They also have a baby registry for those that would like to buy a gift for the baby.
• There are even more discount baby cribs.Walmart has baby beds that range from $109.00 to $150.00. There is one for $148.00 that converts into a toddler bed. That makes it a great deal because you can get years of use from it. They also have a baby registry.
• Kmart offers a crib changing table combo. Now that is a great deal for $249.00. They also have a newborn to toddler bed for $139.00.
• All of the items I’ve mentioned are only sold online

If you can’t find any cribs that are affordable for you there are some other avenues you may consider.

They are:

• Looking on Craig’s list and Ebay for baby beds.
• Shop around in thrift stores or used furniture stores.

• Check to see if there is a recycling program in your area. Those are free
• When ordering online some company’s have free shipping.
• For people who are handy or married to someone who is there are baby crib plans available online. Some of them state that they meet the safety standards of the Consumer Product Safety Commission. That is more important than anything. You certainly want your baby to be safe. It would be very satisfying to build your babies crib yourself.
